This privacy statement applies to all business processes at VAGPWR AS, hereinafter referred to as the data controller.

The statement provides information on data processing by the controller and determines the purpose and remedies of the processing as well as the data processing we make on behalf of our customers based on their instructions. Processing of personal data is necessary in order for us to fulfil our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data may also be use for the following purposes: sales, contact with customer service, marketing, information, bookkeeping.

By email marketing and/ or SMS, you obtain explicit consent in advance. By providing us with your personal information, you agree to the practices and terms outlined in this Privacy policy.

If you have any objections with respect to our processing of your privacy, you also have the opportunity to complain to the Data Protection Authority.

Information may be recorded and stored when you register at, when you are in contact with sales and support either by email, chat or when you use our services.

Where do we store information about you – and where do we share your information with others?

Our ecommerce platform is provided by AS and data is stored in their cloud services at Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) data centre in Ireland.


The data controller also uses services provided by 3rd parties. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information can be stores.


If a payment is made with Klarna in the online store, personal information such as email, name, address, social security number will be shared with “Klarna for Credit”.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are saved.


Logistra is our EDI solution provider. When shopping in our online store, information such as name, phone number and address will be shared with Logistra for printing freight bills and transport labels.



We send packages with PostNord and thus share information related to freight such as name, telephone number and address.

Crall is our system for handling chat correspondence, as well as features such as abandoned carts, and visitor pattern. is also used to send out order confirmations and email, name and address and information related to the order confirmation is thus shared with them. Technology from is also used to generate product recommendations. The productions are based on the pattern of visits and order history that is stored for up to a year.


Communication through Email and SMS

As a customer you will receive e-mails and/ or SMS around your customer relationship. For example, we will send you e-mails/SMS related to orders you have posted. SMS with tracking number, forgotten password, information around your customer account, etc. This is defined as legitimate interest and no consent will be requested.

We also use email marketing and communications. As a customer of VAGPWR, you will periodically receive newsletters as the foremost you have given an active consent to do so. If you do not wish to receive newsletters you can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link un the emails.
